FYI: Doctor Fate
I’ve just seen scans of about two-thirds of Justiniano’s pencils for DOCTOR FATE #1.
It’s some of the most beautiful work I’ve seen in 35 years of writing comics.

Scans implies electronic format.
Electronic format implies portability.
Portability means that you, sir, are HOLDING OUT ON US!!!
And don’t say you’ve lost the email. . . .
Nobody believes whoppers like that.

Any update from DC on when we can expect to see the first issue in stores?

On the release date: no word yet. I suspect DC wants Justiniano *and* myself to be a number of issues ahead before they put the book back on the schedule.
On the matter of scans: I may stick my neck out and let you see a couple of sketches. I can’t show you actual pages without DC’s permission.

I’m Fred’s witness. That’s EXACTLY what DC said. . . .

What a compliment! You’ve worked with some really terrific artists over the years, like Phil Winslade and others. I need to check out this Justiniano guy…

Forget giving us a preview, I just want to have the book in my hands. I am really looking forward to reading you again on a monthly basis.

Unfortunatly the full solicitations fpr july are out, again without a Dr. Fate book. So hopefully it will come out in august (end be a birthday present for me).
