My Next Two Tasks…
…are to master Norton Ghost, so I don’t have to go searching for individual files to restore from its backups…
…and to write the next Doctor Fate, because DC needs it immediately.
After that, I may have one or two surprises to discuss.
Spoke to UCLA yesterday. Nothing new. They’re still attempting to deal with the insurance company.
Have a good holiday, all.

Thanks Starocotes! Just an FYI… Thanksgiving is when we give thanks and prayers to the Native American gods and their representatives on Earth for allowing us to be so durn lucky over here.

Looking highly unlikely I’ll even get out of the house today. Restoring the computer is taking all my time and energy.
Lucky I bought a TV dinner…

I know this is slight thread jacking, but the original post was closed for comments as far as I could see, I just wanted to say, that I finally got hold of CtM #2 on wednesday, and I’ve read the Dr. Fate story 6-7 times by now, I sometimes feel like a 12-year-old fanboy again…

Just read Countdown to Mystery #8 and I’m seriously loving it. Love the new costume, the new Kent Nelson, the new look – everything I was skeptical of about 3 months prior. There’s just something really cool about a skeptical magic hero. I especially like his occupation – a Dr. Fate who cleans up your messes is ten times better than one who sits in a goofy tower all day. Can’t wait to see what issue 4 – Inza – brings!

I was particularly interested in the fact that even though Nelson is in a basically desperate situation financially, he is still thinking of things like being fair to the pawn shop owner and paying him back.
