More Little Pictures
The little picture of Jennifer Kale came from this site, as did this drawing of a character who was created in 1975 by Steve Gerber and Mary Skrenes.
IMAGE DELETED
I still don’t know the name of the artist, but he seems to have done hundreds of these.

Here’s a little background on the Micro-heroes Steve:

In short, they were done by a lot of different people, with two “founding fathers”, but because these things are shared and distributed all over, it’s probably going to be difficult to find the people who did those specific ones.

Scroll down to “Daydreamers” for two of your most famed classic characters.

Great link. Hadn’t thought of characters like these in years. I kind of wish Marvel would go back to more simple art, goofy, kid friendly characters like these. They were so much fun.
When we were kids, my brother and I used to pour through the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and ask each other trivia. Great stuff.

Steve – Let me know if you want any of those done (I’m one of those microhero maker guys).

I dunno about Mr. Gerber himself, but if you’re gonna create some of Gerber’s classics, I’d do the following:
* The cast of Hard Time.
* The supporting cast of Howard the Duck.
* The third Foolkiller.
* Angar the Screamer. (Gerber creation).
* Poison and “Mop Man“. (Little known Gerber creations in MCP and The Evolutionary War).
* Stewart the Rat.
Those be my votes.

Me, I’d love to see one of Nevada. Or the ostrich. But that’s my favorite book anyway. 🙂

Dave: I’m with Rachel. I’d love to see a micro Nevada, Bolero, and De Vesuvio, the latter preferably with an animated lava lamp head.

The Omega micro hero was created by Robert Bradley, who posts on my message board as “Bobster”. Omega was “lifted” from his site: http://www.geocities.com/microheroes/Avengers.html

Wow, Robert’s got 4 alternate Howard templates.
