Westfield Comics Hard Time Interview

Here’s an interview I did recently with Roger Ash of Westfield Comics about Hard Time: Season 2. Regular readers of this blog will find much of the discussion familiar, but there are a few amusing surprises, too. Take a look.

That link redirects to the main page.
I can’t seem to find the interview.

  2. Steve Gerber Says:

Is anyone else having a problem? The link works for me.

Works for me, too. I enjoyed the little glimpse into your collaborative process with Mary. And those preview pages at the DC site look great. Can’t wait.

  4. Alistair Says:

Works for me. I also liked hearing about the collabarative process with Mary.

I figured it might be a mac thing, so I went back with other browsers.
While Safari re-routes to the westfield main page, Mozilla and Netscape work fine.
    Problem solved (or avoided).

…and Season Two does look great, by the way!

Loved the interview. By the way, DC’s house ad for all of their books is using your quote. I have to admit that DC is giving you a lot of love. I can’t wait for the first issue to ship.

  8. Craig Taylor Says:

Link and Preview worked for me. Loved the reveal on how you and Mary work together.

And, good, a BnW *lettered* preview. I’ve ordered the *50 to Life* trade, and eagerly await a second collection.

    I just saw this:

and it reminds me that I’ve been wondering for ages what kind of research you did to prepare for writing HARD TIME. I find your depiction totally convincing and plausible…but then, the closest I’ve ever come to prison is watching the original version of The Longest Yard about a dozen times, so perhaps I’m easily fooled. Were there any particular books or resources that were helpful?
